I have submitted my Permaculture Diploma Portfolio!!! After 4.5 years of being 'registered' for it, I spent this winter documenting 10 of the permaculture design projects that I've worked on over the last few years. It's now submitted & while I await the assessment process results I can get back outside working on some exciting new projects... A tiny home, a new Organic/Permaculture vegetable venture, Upcoming courses, This years Permaculture Gathering, Design consultancy work, Seed Keep & more... Much fun to be had!
My portfolio needs to be assessed by my tutor Chris Evans, and then by a senior tutor, in this case Looby Macnamara. Either I'll have some minor adjustments to make, or else it'll be passed, if I have to do extra work then I'll re submit & it will be passed then. In any case, all going well I should be an accredited permaculture diploma holder int the next few months! To complete the process I need to organise a presentation ceremony which I'm thinking would be great to do here in Ireland so looking into how that could work now.... watch this space!
Introduction to Permaculture Weekend Workshop
@ Lackan Cottage Farm, Co. Down
Friday 4th - Sunday 6th September
Our 2nd visit to Lackan Cottage where Steve, Claire & Lyra "want to demonstrate how a low impact lifestyle can be a practical reality, meeting our own needs for food, energy, waste and water from the land around us"

There will be a blend of thinking, listening, discussion, observing, interacting, exploring, questioning, designing & hands-on practical sessions.
